CONCEPT

‘Relief and Reproduction of a Soul’

Julie Kitamura is a fantasy oil painter.

The theme that she expresses is called:

‘Relief and Reproduction of a soul’.

Her concept is based on the philosophy of alchemy,
as well as the psychology of Carl Gustav Jung.



Julie’s Art:
In Julie’s Art – both in her technique and her themes, she creates archetypal pictures and realises her plan: the activation of our collective
unconsciousness – something which is within all of us and common to all humankind.

Darkness:
When she paints ‘darkness’ she paints sorrow and despair.
it rises from her expression of peoples’ weakness – rather than a purposeful expression of violence or cruelty.

“You are not alone!”:
Julie’s paintings are created for this purpose:
Julie accuses reality to its depths and expresses this in her original images, thereby bestowing sympathy – to give relief to those people suffering sorrow and despair. “You are not alone!”

‘Transformation’:
The paintings have been conjured up using Julie’s alchemy.

Within her exhibition – through her magic, you will see the story of each paintings’ series evolve.
From their beginnings in darkness each series moves into the ‘light’.

Then you may feel it in your heart.
